PRIVACY POLICY
This page explains the main categories of information Pit Culture may process and the controls available to visitors.
Effective: September 27, 2026
Who operates this site
Pit Culture is a Coffee X Media property. Coffee X Media operates the shared publishing, creator, commerce, attribution and reporting systems that support Pit Culture.
Information you choose to provide
If you contact Pit Culture, submit a creator or partnership inquiry, join a newsletter or use another interactive feature, the information you provide may be stored and used to respond to the request, operate the relevant workflow, prevent abuse and maintain an appropriate record of the interaction.
Newsletter subscriptions
Smoke Signals is the Pit Culture newsletter. When you subscribe, Coffee X Media records your email address, selected newsletters and consent details. MailerLite processes subscription information to deliver the selected newsletters. Other Coffee X Media newsletters are optional. You can unsubscribe using the link in a newsletter or contact us for help.
Site and measurement data
Google Analytics 4 and advertising pixels are currently disabled on Pit Culture.
Pit Culture may use site analytics, campaign attribution, affiliate tracking and similar measurement tools when those integrations are enabled and permitted by the applicable privacy preference. These systems may process information such as page paths, referral or campaign details, device/browser context, consent state and anonymous or pseudonymous identifiers.
Cookies, browser storage and consent
Strictly necessary storage may be used for site operation, security, requested features and remembering privacy choices. Optional analytics, personalization and advertising technologies are controlled through the site preference layer. See the Cookie & Tracking Policy for the current categories and additional details.
You can change your optional analytics, personalization and advertising choices at any time.
Affiliate and commerce links
When you follow an affiliate, merchandise or other commerce link, Pit Culture may record a click or placement reference through a Coffee X Media tracking path before directing you to another service. The destination merchant, affiliate network, storefront or checkout provider then applies its own privacy practices. See the Affiliate Disclosure for information about compensated links.
Third-party and embedded content
Video pages use YouTube privacy-enhanced embeds. The player may connect to YouTube when it loads, before you press play; it is not controlled by the personalization switch. Playing a video or following an external link may result in further processing under that service’s own privacy practices.
Form security
Protected forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated abuse. Cloudflare may process technical browser and network information for this security check.
Advertising and future integrations
Pit Culture may introduce advertising or additional measurement integrations as the property grows. If these services are enabled, we will update this policy and apply the relevant privacy controls.
Data minimization and access
Coffee X Media aims to restrict personal and sensitive information to systems and people that need it for legitimate operational purposes. Creator contact details and other backend-only information are not intended for public display.
Retention and service providers
Information may be retained for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, operational records, security, legal obligations or dispute resolution. Service providers may process information on behalf of Pit Culture or Coffee X Media when required to operate the relevant service.
Your choices and requests
You can revisit optional tracking choices through Your Privacy Choices or the Cookie Settings control in the footer. For privacy questions or requests concerning information you directly provided to Pit Culture, use the Contact page and choose Privacy request.
Policy updates
This policy may be updated as the site, vendors, advertising relationships and legal requirements change. Material changes to optional tracking can trigger a new consent-policy version so visitors are asked to make a fresh choice.
